Job Summary
Agrifa International Limited, a reputable and fast-growing agribusiness in Ogun State, is currently seeking to hire a competent and experienced individual for a Finance and Accounting Analyst job. This role requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about financial planning, business performance evaluation, and strategic reporting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the company’s financial health and decision-making processes.


Job Responsibilities

  • Build and regularly update a comprehensive operating financial model to project the company’s long-term performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online.
  • Manage the accounting system including bank reconciliations, transaction recording, payroll, and tax submissions.
  • Analyze costs, develop product pricing strategies, and recommend operational cost-control measures.
  • Draft and monitor weekly and monthly operating budgets aligned with the company’s financial goals.
  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including variance analyses and spending forecasts.
  • Ensure tax compliance by managing state and federal tax payments and statutory deductions like pensions.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to management through data interpretation and forecasting tools.
  • Develop financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, government officials, and banking partners on financial and regulatory matters.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Finance and Accounting Analyst job or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and strong command of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Solid understanding of financial modeling, reporting standards, and budgeting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Verifiable professional references are required.
